Friday 14th November,  SVITZER Salvage BV was contracted to re-float  dredger  "Abigail H" , which sank on the 2nd November in the port of Heysham, United Kingdom. No personal injuries occured.  A SVITZER Salvage team and portable equipment and were mobilised from the Netherlands on the 17^th of  November.  Upon arrival the salvage team started the preparations to refloat the vessel  which was settled onto the muddy seabed having a list of 20 degrees. In good co-operation with the owners, local authorities and the crew of chartered floating crane "Mersey Mammoth"  the  team successfully re-floated the vessel within seven days on the 25^th of November.
