A wide range of custom-built SVITZER tugs provide towage services at 18 LNG terminals worldwide. Our services include pilotage, tanker berthing and unberthing, line handling, and safety services such as fire-fighting and pollution prevention and control.

To deliver value-adding service, we get involved with our clients at an early stage to provide advice on all aspects associated with tanker berthing at new terminals.

Our Technical and New Building Departments specialise in tailoring tugs and solutions for the individual LNG terminal with due consideration to LNG carrier size, tug bollard pull, ice classification, safety and environmental requirements. Crews are trained at existing LNG terminals and at SVITZER's simulator facilities in Denmark.
